Xanadu Gallery’s Smart Marketing

As a featured artist with Xanadu Gallery, I’m enjoying many benefits from both advertising opportunities and marketing advice from the owner, Jason Horejs.

Jason opened his Scottsdale, Arizona gallery in 2001 and developed his on-line gallery – Xanadu Studios in 2010. It allows artists to create a page on the Xanadu website and sell their work with the backing of a well-established gallery. The artists ship from their studios and Xanadu handles the sale, taking a small commission.

ADVERTISING BENEFITS

Not only does Jason send blogs with advice on marketing and shipping, but he gives artists the opportunity to be part of a co-op two page ad in American Art Collector Magazine for a very small fee. He also prints a catalogue to send to his collectors and the participation in that medium is very reasonable.

To see my paintings on the Xanadu site, go to my Xanadu Studios link on my home page. I am currently showing 15 images and add more every couple of weeks.

Here are two watercolors, Mrs. Holland’s Garden which is in the current collector catalogue and Allyson’s Dahlia Garden which will appear in the co-op ad in the April American Art Collector magazine.
