Backyard Inspiration

Pleasures od Autumn_edited-1

“Pleasures of Autumn”  36″ x 72″ oil and metal leaf on canvas – $7,000

This is Thanksgiving Day in an unprecedented year of worry and fear of the Pandemic and a new way of coping with every-day living and isolation.  My own daily routine remains the same since I still spend many hours a day painting.  What is different is that my inspiration has to come mainly from my own backyard and garden.  Fortunately, I have three vine maple trees to give me constant pleasure and inspiration.  The painting above was just completed to add to the following series on the trees.

VineMapleArch#2_edited-1

“Vine Maple Arch #2″  36″ x 48” oil and metal leaf on canvas – $4,300

Vine Maple Trees_edited-3

“Vine Maple Trees” 36″ x 48″ oil and metal leaf on canvas – $4,000

Seasonal Harmony_edited-6

“Seasonal Harmony” 40″ x 60″ oil and metal leaf on canvas –  $6,000

This painting is also one of four note cards published by Pomegranate Publishing and also will be on one of their 2022 calendars of 12 of my oil and metal paintings available next July.

Remnants of Autumn_edited-2

“Remnants of Autumn” 36″ x 48″ oil and metal leaf on canvas -$4,500

This painting is the backside of the same tree as “Seasonal Harmony” which is in front of my studio and gives me great pleasure watching the seasonal change of colors.  It is also included on the 2022 calendar.

Pomegranate also sells a jigsaw puzzle of  my earlier acrylic painting – “Fantasy Panorama of the Oregon Cascades and Coast”.
