“A Hint of Autumn”  36″ x 48″ oil and metal leaf – sold

I’m always painting a season ahead and I spent most of the summer working on the above paintings.  Both were juried in to The Portland Art Museum Rental/Sales Gallery for the fall show which will be opening October 29.  The entire show of all the artists can be seen on  “Published Shows” at the following link.

I also painted a spring painting this summer for a change of colors and enjoyed working with the contrast of seasons.

I’m finding that working on bright summer plants and flowers in the fall and winter months keep me cheered and the metal leaf always adds an extra glow to my studio.
