“Shimmering Wisteria” 36″ x 48″ oil and metal leaf – $4,700
This lovely wisteria plant belongs to the neighbor across the street and announces spring for us each year with its incredible grace and beauty. I was inspired to paint it and the painting was on the cover of my 2024 Pomegranate calendar.
Our own yard blooms with both plum and cherry trees and continually thrill me with their blossoms and trunks. I have started to paint two different types of them to balance the paintings’ compositions. I have also tried to vary the type of metal leaf application.

The dogwood trees bloom in our neighborhood and inspire me each year with their large blossoms. I had painted this one when a lady commissioned me to paint the pink variety and I have created several different compositions and sizes of those in recent years. The painting below is on the cover of the 2025 Pomegranate calendar and is still available on-line.
