American Art Collector Magazine offered a new special section based on fall paintings in their October issue and I decided it would be a good time and place to introduce my new series of oil and metal leaf paintings. Since I’ve been painting mostly autumn-themed paintings for months, I also had the work ready.
Besides the ad, the offer also included another image in their editorial section and enough words to allow me to describe my technique and inspiration. I was also able to give my blog name for those people who wanted more detailed descriptions, since I’ve written several blogs on the technique in the past year.
This magazine is now the only one I subscribe to since it has such a high caliber of art work shown and advertised. I’ve advertised in it before and have had some sales generated from it as well as a commission and other opportunities.
I just added these images to my website and will have more to add in a couple of weeks.
