The Portland Art Museum Rental/Sales Gallery will open their spring show April 17 between 5 and 8 p.m. The gallery is located at 1237 S.W. 10th Ave. There are over 200 new works, including my two paintings shown above.
I try to do more spring images for this show, but for some reason either the paintings were too large to submit or were not quite finished by the deadline. I did enter an amaryllis painting as one of the three, but the jury only selects two at the most and decided on these.
This is a special opening for me because it marks my 50th year with the gallery, having joined in 1965.
