There is snow on the ground and on the skylights of my studio today, but my inspiration for several paintings that I’m working on comes from spring.
I just completed the painting above and I’m finishing the last touches on a hydrangea painting and a lily diptych. I’m also looking forward to the blossoming of all of the bulbs we planted in our garden last fall. The colors of the irises, lilies and tulips will be fantastic and the thoughts of those are keeping me warm right now!
